Meet Your Instructor

All workshops can be customized to meet the needs of your participants.

Customization often includes:

We can also combine multiple topics into a series, or into one longer workshop.

Our active-learning, practical virtual workshops are interactive from the start. Participants “walk in” to a virtual classroom centered around experiential Discovery Learning.

We love working with teachers! We offer professional development in two curriculum areas:

Career and Technical Education (CTE) - Teaching Writing for Careers

We help teachers prepare students to successfully write and communicate in their jobs and careers. By sharing insights about the writing demands and norms of today’s business setting, we help you get your students ready to communicate with confidence on their first day.

We offer Teacher Education opportunities like:

In-service sessions with practical ideas for the classroom
Webinars offering resources for teaching about writing in careers
Workshops in teacher education programs at colleges and universities
Guest talks in teacher education college classes

Teaching Professional Writing or Business Writing Online

Teaching writing online requires new ways of engaging participants and offers new opportunities for practicing and critiquing writing while in class. We help you prepare and deliver lesson plans and virtual classroom activities that engage writing, EFL, or ELA students in virtual settings.

By taking advantage of the virtual classroom’s natural reliance on written communication (like chat boxes and more), you can help students prepare to write professionally in today’s business setting. Lifetime teacher Erin Lebacqz also talks with student organizations or classes, sharing the strategies and perspectives graduates need to write with success in their careers.
